6 Thing To Be Careful Of When Buying A Palladio Composite Door

Things to be careful of  when buying a Palladio Composite Door:

  • Palladio Doors should be hung on a linear frame so that its adaptable for the door sash.
  • The sidelights if any on a door should be separate to the door frame before installation. This is to ensure there is an aluminum coupler used so there is no shake on the hinge side of the door when the door closes.
  • The fitter should not be commission based, this will only lead to time being spent fitting the door quickly so they can get on to the next job. We recommend non paid commission fitters.
  • Glass in door and sidelights should be of triple glazed.
  • All Palladio Doors should be hung on a linear frame, ideally done by Palladio themselves in Glenn, Co. Limerick
  • Palladio Doors should come for installation in boxes wrapped and stamped Palladio. If there is sidelights, they should come separate aswell in separate boxes. The doors should not come attached all in the one piece. This is a cheaper way of manufacturing and can lead to problems in the future.
